Canvas (Calico)
Calico 1417 & 1418 fabric is a high-quality fabric that combines the strengths of synthetic polyester fibers, making up 80%, and natural cotton fibers, constituting the remaining 20%. It comes in two styles, both featuring a smooth texture and a ribbed texture, non-stretchy, and without any shine. It is suitable for various textile products and sewing projects, with special properties including:
- Durability: Both styles of calico fabric are not subjected to dyeing processes, making them strong and durable.
- Shape retention: The fabric has a slight stiffness, allowing it to retain its shape well and making it easy to manipulate. It has a moderate weight and can be used in various styles as desired.
- Ease of sewing: Widely used for sewing projects for a long time, it can be easily cut and sewn into various new creations or products. From simple tote bags to intricate designs, it can be tailored to suit different needs, including adding zippers, linings, or making hats. It is also used for making curtains.
